20 Incher Stonefly

A 20-inch fishing fly is a large -style pattern designed to imitate sizable bugs, baitfish, leeches, or spent trout and is most effective when targeting trophy trout, steelhead, tied on long shanks with extended tails, substantial bodies, and often weighted heads or articulated joints, these flies create strong pulsing action and a commanding silhouette that triggers aggressive strikes from big fish, especially in low-light conditions or fast, deep runs where visibility is limited and prey appear larger.
