The RS2 fly is a versatile, attractor-style streamer designed to mimic baitfish and provoke aggressive strikes from trout and steelhead; its slim profile, articulated construction, and segmented body produce lifelike movement and a pronounced flash that reads well at a variety of retrieval speeds. Built with durable synthetic materials and a compact weedless head option, the RS2 excels in current seams, pocket water, and deeper runs where a combination of vibration and subtle pulse triggers reluctant fish. Anglers favor it for nymph-to-streamer transitions because it fishes well on both sinking tips and full sink tips, and it comes in a range of colors to match local forage or stand out in stained water. Easy to cast yet rugged enough for repeated use, the RS2 is a reliable choice for anglers targeting opportunistic trout and anadromous species throughout the season.
