The Yellow Humpy is a classic, highly visible attractor dry fly known for its buoyant, hackled humpback profile that rides high on the water, imitating a variety of adult mayflies, caddis, and terrestrial insects; its bright yellow body and contrasting deer hair hump make it easy for anglers to see and for fish to notice in fast water or low light, while the weight and stout hook pattern provide solid hooksets on aggressive trout.
